our story
Bob’s Asphalt Paving began in 1983, founded by Bob Denhof with a focus on grading and a strong commitment to quality work and dependable service. In those early years, Bob laid the groundwork—literally and figuratively—for what would become a trusted name in asphalt paving across West Michigan.
In 1987, Bob passed the torch to his stepson, Jaime Radford. Under Jaime’s leadership, the company expanded beyond grading to include full-service asphalt paving, sealcoating, excavating, and more. Jaime spent nearly four decades building relationships with customers and passing his knowledge down to the next generation—his two sons.
From a young age, Jaime's two sons learned the business hands-on, working side by side with their father and gaining a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and care that goes into every job. In 2024, Jaime’s youngest son, Mike Radford, stepped into the lead role, continuing the legacy of hard work, honesty, and family values that have defined Bob’s Asphalt Paving for over 40 years.
Today, we remain a family-owned and operated business, proud to serve both residential and commercial clients with the same dedication that started it all.

Some things are built to last—our original grader and dump truck from over 40 years ago are still going strong on job sites today, a true testament to quality equipment and how we take care of what we use.
